Early Intervention

At Brilliant Minds, we are committed to providing an exceptional therapeutic  and family-centered system of developmental intervention services and support for families with children disabilities or those experiencing developmental delays between the ages of birth to five years old in the following areas: physical (gross/fine motor, sensory), cognitive, communication, social/emotional and adaptive. Our goal is to foster a family's ability to promote their child’s development to  their highest potential. We enhance families' ability to incorporate effective practices into children’s daily routine so that children can actively participate in their natural environment. We involve families in every step of our services. Our experienced practitioners are readily available to work with families to ensure that each child meets their developmental milestones.

Child Development

When children age out of New Jersey Early Intervention System at age three,  the service coordinator helps families and children transition from early intervention to a preschool program which is usually provided by the child’s local school district, and/or other service providers based on the child’s needs. At Brilliant Minds, we offer complete continuous developmental services post-early intervention to adolescence age. Our service provision model  includes  initial assessment, direct service, monitoring and consultation to families. Our process of providing services consists of three parts: Evaluation, Intervention, and Outcomes. Our home-based therapeutic developmental services are child- and family-centered, nurturing and promote young children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development post-early intervention to adolescence. All services are tailored specifically for each child and their family based on their needs and their target goals.

Our services are provided in children’s homes, child care centers  and in locations that children typically visit. We believe that providing early intervention services in children’s natural environments is vital in children reaching their full developmental milestones. We offer families the opportunity to choose a mode of service (in-person or virtual) as well as service location  (In-Home therapy, Virtual (online) Learning, Community Centers, and or Childcare Centers) that best meet the family needs. Our specialists, therapists and paraprofessionals  are licensed and certified professionals who are highly skilled and dedicated with many years of early intervention experience. Our staff members are thoroughly screened. We only hire practitioners who are passionate about young children and meeting their developmental milestones.
